Ajaya K. Tummala, M.D.

Ajaya K. Tummala, M.D., joined Cardiovascular Consultants, LLP, in September, 1995.  Dr. Tummala was recruited from Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

A native of India, Dr. Tummala completed his medical education at the Ahdhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, A.P., India.  His residency in internal medicine was completed at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  He completed his fellowship in cardiology at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Tummala is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Cardiovascular Subspecialty Board in cardiology with certification of added qualification in interventional cardiology.  Active in the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association, Dr. Tummala is a member of the medical staff for the facilities of the Willis-Knighton Health System.
