Thomas M. Smith, M.D.

Thomas M. Smith, M.D., has been a practicing cardiologist since 1979.  Dr. Smith attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he achieved numerous honors.  He completed his medical education at the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 1973.  Dr. Smith completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 1976 and his cardiology fellowship program at the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1979.

Dr. Smith is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Cardiovascular Subspecialty Board in cardiology with added qualification in interventional cardiology.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
He has been an active cardiologist in Bossier City since 1982.  He joined Cardiovascular Consultants on March 1, 2002.

Dr. Smith provides cardiology services at the Willis-Knighton Bossier Health Center.  Along with Drs. Paul G. Cole and Wm. Britton Eaves, his office is located in Suite 450 of the medical office building at 2300 Hospital Drive on the Willis-Knighton Bossier Health.
